Description:
The Avon RB780CR Chieftain High Security Road Blocker provides a high level of protection against unauthorized vehicle entry, designed to withstand an impact of over 1,852 KJ. The RB780CR blocker is a HVM (Hostile Vehicular Attack) mitigation solution, providing protection to objects from an extreme attack by a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED).
It has been independently structurally evaluated by the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) and has also been tested in several full-scale crash tests performed in accordance with PAS 68 by the Motor Industry Research Association (MIRA).
As a result, the RB780CR Chieftain High Security Road blocker became one of the first British road blockers installed by the British Government.
