GREEN Trough is a polymer pedestrian cable trough designed for surface cable routing without the need for excavation. It provides a modern alternative to traditional concrete cable troughs by combining outstanding mechanical strength, low weight, easy installation and exceptional long-term durability. Manufactured from a halogen-free, UV-stabilised polymer, it offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, salt, de-icing agents, solvents, snow and acid rain. The system is mechanically rated IK09, self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, withstands vertical loads of up to 10 kN/m, and operates reliably within a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C. Its lockable safety lid provides secure protection for the cable infrastructure.

♻ GREEN Trough is also an environmentally responsible solution. Around 4,000 tonnes of recycled household plastic waste are used in its production every year, equivalent to approximately 268 million plastic bottles.

GREEN Trough is the world’s most versatile pedestrian cable trough system with a safety lid, available in six sizes. It has been engineered for long-term reliability and fast installation, offering more than 50 years of UV resistance, verified through accelerated testing by Furukawa, while its unique design naturally compensates for thermal expansion.

Most trough sections can be easily cut and adapted on site using standard hand tools without generating dust or compromising the locking connection. Compared to conventional concrete alternatives, the system is approximately 70% lighter, significantly simplifying handling, reducing installation time and lowering transport and construction costs. Most components can be safely carried and installed by a single person (One-Man Lift).
