In 2016, they set a record. In 2019, they broke it. And in 2025, they’ve done it again.

Our long-standing partner Pipelife has once again confirmed its position as a world leader in the production and transport of large-diameter HDPE pipes. For the third time in history, the company has broken the world record for towing pipes across the sea — an extraordinary achievement requiring top-level technology, precise planning, and uncompromising quality. The first record was set in 2016, the second in 2019, when Pipelife delivered more than three kilometers of HDPE pipes from Norway to Malaysia (Pipelife – New World Record HDPE Pipe Delivery to Malaysia). And now, in 2025, history repeats itself — with an incredible route spanning 28,000 kilometers. This time, it involved three HDPE pipes with a diameter of 2,500 mm and a total length of 1,426 meters, towed across the sea during a five-month voyage. These massive pipes will supply cooling water to a 500-MW power plant, making the project a true milestone both technically and energetically. The world’s longest HDPE pipe transport has been successfully completed by the Norwegian team, proving once again that innovation, experience, and the courage to push boundaries are part of this brand’s DNA. The production of large-diameter HDPE pipes at Pipelife’s Stathelle plant in Norway is a unique process that allows for pipes of exceptional length. These are towed across the sea directly to their destination, minimizing the need for joints, improving system reliability, and significantly saving time and installation costs.

In 2025, we will be part of one of the most prestigious expert forums in the field of transport infrastructure – the KBK: Fire Safety of Tunnels Conference. During our presentation, we will showcase approaches and solutions that raise standards and contribute to the development of reliable and modern infrastructure. We see our participation as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration in shaping the future of this strategic and critical sector of transport infrastructure.

We are proud to announce that we are an official partner of the ČKAIT conference – Transport Structures in Design and Implementation, which will take place on 6 October 2025 in Olomouc.

This important professional event annually brings together designers, builders, investors, contractors and technology suppliers involved in the preparation and implementation of key transport infrastructure projects. The conference provides a platform for open exchange of experience, presentation of new trends, and discussion of technological and legislative challenges that influence the development of road and railway infrastructure. This certificate confirms the product’s environmental properties in accordance with international standards and considers its impact throughout its entire life cycle. Our innovative Green Trough system, an exceptionally lightweight cable trough with IK10 impact resistance, has obtained an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) valid across Europe. The walkable cable trough is not only lightweight and resistant to weather, corrosion, and frost, but it also significantly reduces installation time and improves safety during installation. Thanks to these properties, this cable trough is an ideal choice for infrastructure projects in Europe. Obtaining an EPD is an increasingly important factor in public procurement and tenders — designers and investors are increasingly requiring proof of the environmental footprint of products. Our trough therefore meets even the most demanding market requirements, facilitating its use in European projects and supporting the transition towards a sustainable future, which is part of the European Green Deal initiative.

In addition, obtaining this environmental certificate supports global sustainability goals, to which our partner — the Furukawa Electric Group — has committed itself in its Vision 2030. This strategy reflects the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasizes reducing carbon footprint, promoting recycling, and developing solutions for modern infrastructure that integrates information technology, energy, and mobility.

Obtaining the EPD for our supplied system is therefore another step towards ensuring that our solutions contribute to environmental protection and the construction of a modern, sustainable Europe.
