Description:

Protecta FR Putty Cord is an easy-to-use fire-stop putty supplied in the form of rollers. The use of caulking rollers restores the fire resistance of the partition and prevents the passage of smoke and flames during a fire and the movement of sound and air during the service life.

The caulking roller is designed for easy installation around technical transitions where the joint around the transitions is very small or there is no joint at all, so it is not possible to use a conventional fireproofing sealant due to the required depth and substrate material. Caulk rollers are attached to cover the gap around the transitions, but do not have to fill the gap to the desired depth.

Description

Due to its properties, the putty is hand-moldable, reusable and repairable. It comes in round rollers that can be easily attached by hand and no tools are required.

The use of caulking rollers restores the fire resistance of the transition and prevents the penetration of smoke and flames during a fire and the movement of sound and air during the service life.
